Just one thought- what to do with Moyer? I didn’t see tonight’s game, but the line sure wasn’t pretty. There’s no way he gets one of the 4 playoff rotation spots, right?
Or if Pedro turns out to be a disappointment, is Moyer the last starter in for an October run?
Would you rather hand the ball on a cold October night to Jamie Moyer or J.A. Happ?
Moyer has been inconsistent at best this year. And the book on how to beat him is pretty thick. But he’s been there before and is capable of throwing a gem now and then.
It’s not as simple a decision as it seems at first glance.
