Phils Season Ticket Info Released

Yesterday I noticed on the Phillies website that they no longer had a link to the page to place deposits for 2009 season tickets. It looks like they did so to reload the page to show what the 2009 partial game plans look like, as well as what the per ticket cost will be for season ticket holders, which is always discounted compared to single game tickets.

It looks like ticket prices are going up a couple of bucks in general, but some are remaining the same, specifically “Scoreboard Porch” and Sections 201-205 remain at $22/ticket, which is the same as 2008 prices . For example, Sects. 101-107 & 140-148 are going from $24 to $27 per seat for season ticket holders. Sects. 108-114 & 133-139 are going from $37 to $39 and Infield (115-132) & Baseline (1-6) are going from $44 – $50 per seat. Again, these are only for season tickets, but it’s safe to assume that the increase will impact single game tickets at least that much.

Considering the team just won the World Series, and payroll is expected to rise, I don’t think these increases are that big of a deal. Sure, you could argue that the owners have made plenty off of the postseason run, including ticket and merchandise, but I think generally fans expect to see a hike in prices when the team wins it all.
